This is the only high-quality version I've heard of this jam, out of several - including falsely titled ones. It's also the best part (being just before the Driving South section).Why John only took an acoustic guitar (with pickup) to the 'gig' in anyone's guess - I'm sure he had others at the time. Although he couldn't have used one of Jimi's, without re-stringing it first.Which reminds me - I've finally bought a proper Fender Stratocaster (white, left-handed), after years of owning copies and Strat-style guitars (with all the others).
