Cameron grew up in Long Beach, California, wanting to be a zoologist, but instead landed a modeling contract at 16 years old, which saw her model around the world for the next 5 years in Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Paris, and Sydney.She made her film debut opposite Jim Carrey in the 1994 comedy hit 'The Mask', which she followed up with a string of independent films such as 'Feeling Minnesota' opposite Keanu Reeves as well as Hollywood blockbusters like 'My Best Friends Wedding'.Camerons been honored for both her dramatic and comedy work in a wide range of major studio hits and acclaimed independent films. A four-time Golden Globe nominee, Cameron earned her first Golden Globe nod and other Best Actress Awards for her performance in the title role of the Farrelly brothers 1999 smash hit comedy 'Theres Something About Mary'.
