At time of writing, Dennis Hopper, a complete and utter legend, died yesterday of pancreatic cancer. He will be deeply missed, I'm sure, by family, friends and fans from all over the world. However, it is a shame that one of the films that he was part of and most proud of, according to interviews, is now nay on unavailable. This is his directorial follow-up to Easy Rider: The Last Movie. It will not be surprising that clips from Easy Rider, Blue Velvet and other such films will be become very popular now, and so I thought I would upload my favourite scene with him. In this scene, which isn't connected to the story so don't worry, a stuntman (Hopper) and his director talk about westerns and gold while smoking copious amounts of (real) marijuana. It is nearly entirely improvised and I think it shows DH having a good time, even if he is complaining. I hope you enjoy! |
